I have no idea..what is the name of it…but trust me guys..it is yummy…
I learnt this from mom..She used to get this when ever she visits me during my college hostel days…quite famous with my hostel friends..
Ingredients:
Tomatoes : 4 nos (ripe ones)
Red Chillies: 3-4 nos(again depends on how spicy u want)
Hing – a pinch
Curry Leaves – as needed
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Gingely Oil/til ka tel/ nalla ennai – 3-4 tsp (u can use any cooking oil)
salt – as needed
Method:
- Add tomatoes, Red chillies in a blender / mixer and grind it
- In a pan, add oil
- Add mustard Seeds, Hing and curry leaves and let it splutter
- Add the tomato – chilly mixture in the pan and add salt as needed
- Allow the tomatoes to cook, keep a lid over the pan and let it cook in simmer
- Cook till the oil leaves the rest of mixture
this is one of the good combination for plain rotis and dosas!!
