Soya Chunks..High source of protein for Vegetarians…and this one was my experiment few months ago!!! and I liked it and quite simple to make it
Ingredients:
Soya Chunk : 8 – 10 pieces
Onions(Chopped): 1/2 cup
Red Chilli Powder: 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder: 1/2tsp
mustard seeds: a pinch
salt: as needed
curry leaves: as needed
oil :2tsp
Method:
- Soak soya chunk in hot water for 2 -3 mins, till the chunks become little bigger
- Squeeze the water from the chunks and mash it up with hands to smaller chunks
- in a pan, add oil and saute mustard seeds and curry leaves
- add onion in the pan and saute it for a minute.
- add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, garam masala and salt
- add the smaller chunks and saute it..till the color of soya turns to darker brown
can add coriander for garnishing….
